Papa Roach – F.E.A.R. (2015) – Album Review

PapaRoachFEAR

“F.E.A.R.” continues Papa Roach‘s legacy with another half hour collection of up beat metal/rock anthems. It’s nostalgic, harking back to their younger years. Whilst development is kept at a minimal Papa Roach were never expansive, their shy approach to change never having a majorly negative impact on their work. The short space of time “F.E.A.R.” occupies means they can get away with this. Despite the in-expansiveness you can hear influences from modern metal, but these are merely cameos, never  crafted a brand new sound.

Verdict – 6/10 – A good body of work but fails to lift imagination, live it will be a different, and much more vigorous story.
