7. Killer Be Killed – Killer Be Killed
When this act was announced the world exploded. What an extraordinary super-group line up, and the best bit, it works. Few times a super-group feels as though it’ll be longstanding, asides from Audioslave, but Killer Be Killed is an exceptionally strong force to be reckoned with. It contains all elements of each bands respective music but culminates into something relatively new. It’s not too much in any direction either. ‘Wings of Feather and Wax’ has one of the BEST choruses to come out in a while, especially in the metal world. The whole album though is a great body of work and more from KBK is welcomed; it didn’t detract from their respective bands either, nor does it sound much like them, a testament to the writing talents of the members. It feels like it should have been a curve ball but it in fact it delivered exactly as promised. One of those albums where I’m just glad it exists.
