13. David Bowie – The Next Day
David Bowie‘s album was hugely anticipated. After all it was his first album in 10 years and his 24th album overall. It’s a shame I never actually got round to reviewing it, just never had the time but it’s seriously enjoyable. The single released was admittedly… lackluster perhaps. But even still, grant him your patience and he will deliver. I believe he did. He’s an inspiration to uncountable legions of people and the latest installment was another exploration through the wizarding and fluctuating mind of Bowie. Given the surprise announcement of this album it’ll be interesting to see what else may happen in his future, still many a year left. Obviously it doesn’t compare immediately to his classics but there’s plenty of gold to be found inside this mountain.
